Reini Florin, Axerra's General Manager - Americas, Participates in a Panel Discussion at Broadband Wireless World, Collocated with NXTComm 2008 in Las Vegas

Conference:
June 18-19, 2008

Exhibition:
June 17-19, 2008

Location:
Las Vegas, NV    Broadband Wireless World, a two-day conference sponsored by Light Reading, focused on the evolution of the broadband wireless market from 3G to 4G, and provided an update on the transition of the U.S telecom services market from one of narrowband wireless services and fixed broadband services to one of broadband wireless services that in some business models complement wireline networks and in other cases compete with them.

As part of the educational seminars, Reini Florin, Axerra's General Manager - Americas, participated in a panel discussion on "Reducing Transport Costs in the Backhaul Network." The panel was moderated by Patrick Donegan, Senior Analyst, Wireless, Heavy Reading, and discussed how wireless carriers can migrate cost-effectively to Ethernet-based backhaul.

Axerra Participates in Webinar on "Wireless Backhaul: Technology Choices for Lower OpEx"

On June 3, 2008 at 12:00 pm (EST), Axerra participated in an informative educational webinar hosted by Light Reading on the topic of "Wireless Backhaul: Technology Choices for Lower Opex."

Cellular operators are under a lot of pressure to slash the cost of connecting base stations to their networks. This Webinar reviewed ways of achieving this by adopting alternatives to traditional TDM circuits – alternatives that range from microwave to such things as pseudowire connections over IP/Ethernet infrastructure.
