Axerra's Pseudo-Wire Solutions Enable the Foremost Japanese Insurance Company to Migrate to an IP Network

Axerra Networks and NTT Advanced Technology Corporation (NTT-AT), the distributor of Axerra's solutions in Japan, announced the completion of a project to migrate the VPN network of Nippon Life Insurance Company (Nissay) in Japan to a new IP network.

Axerra Delivers Presentation and Technical Briefing; Showcases Pseudo-Wire Solutions for Mobile Backhaul in Hong Kong IIR's Transport Networks for Mobile Operators

HONG KONG   At IIR's Transport Networks for Mobile Operators conference in Hong Kong, Gil Biran, Founder, President, and CSO of Axerra Networks led the October 8th Pre-Conference Technical briefing on: "Exploiting Pseudo-Wires to increase the cost effectiveness of mobile backhaul." This afternoon briefing discussed the development of Pseudo-Wires for delay sensitive 4G and 3G voice traffic as well as Pseudo-Wires for HSDPA offload.

On Tuesday, October 9, Gil Biran also delivered a live presentation on: "Deploying Ethernet architecture to minimise the Opex of mobile access and backhaul networks."

At Stand #4, Axerra showcased our award-winning AXN Pseudo-Wire Gateways and Access Devices™.

Axerra Participates in Industry Webinars on Mobile Backhaul

On Thursday, July 12, 2007, Haim Volinsky, Axerra’s VP Marketing, participated in a Light Reading webinar entitled “Mobile Backhaul Using Pseudo-Wires.”

On Wednesday, September 12, 2007, Axerra was a participant in the Light Reading webinar entitled "Mobile Backhaul Optimization: 2G, 3G, 4G & the All-IP Network."

Both of these webinars were moderated by Patrick Donegan, Senior Analyst for Heavy Reading.

On October 2, 2007, FierceMarkets held its "Beyond T1: Evaluating Backhaul Options" event in Dallas, TX. Gil Biran, Axerra's Founder, President, and CSO participated in the panel discussion on "Backhaul Alternatives -- Pseudo-Wires, Metro Ethernet, and Cable."

Axerra Receives a NXTcomm 2007 Eos Award for Technology Innovation

In June, Axerra was honored by NXTcomm 2007 with an "Eos Award." These inaugural “Excellence in Achievement” awards honor the best new technology or enterprise solution.

Axerra’s AXN10-8NR Pseudo-Wire Access Device™ was the runner-up in the category of Technology Innovation: Access Networking. A reception was held at NXTcomm on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at which time winners and runners-up received special recognition.

Axerra Announces GA (general availability) of 2.7 Software for the AXN10 Family of Products - Revised Datasheets are Now Available on the Web

Axerra R&D has announced the general availability of 2.7 software for the AXN10 family of Pseudo-Wire Access Devices (AXN10-4N, 10-8N, 10-8NR).

Updated datasheets for all AXN Pseudo-Wire Gateways and Access Devices as well as for AXN System Cards are now available on Axerra's website.
